新型コロナウイルス感染症が世界に広がり、
感染者2億人を突破しましたが、いまだ終息する目処は立っていません。
そんな状況のなか、講談社は厚生労働省の協力のもと
体内細胞を擬人化したコミック『はたらく細胞』の
「新型コロナウイルス編」と「感染予防編」を制作。
この2つの作品をJICA（国際協力機構）の支援を得て英語やヒンディー語に翻訳し、
音声や効果音入りの“ムービングコミック”で世界に無料配信します。
最前線で闘う医療従事者の皆様に感謝を込めつつ
世界中の人々が漫画を通じて
新型コロナウイルス感染症の理解を深め
一人ひとりが予防することで
一緒にこの危機を乗り越えていきたいと願っています。

The novel coronavirus has spread across the world, with over two hundred million infected and no end in sight. Amid the world-wide pandemic, KODANSHA, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in Japan, has created two new episodes to the famous anthropomorphic manga, Cells at Work!, “Novel Coronavirus” and “Preventing Novel Coronavirus Infection”. These two episodes were translated into multiple languages, including English and Hindi, and will be distributed across the world free of charge as a motion comic with voice and sound.
These two episodes were created to show appreciation for the front-line medical workers fighting against the virus, to spread the understanding of the novel coronavirus world-wide, and to raise awareness on the prevention of infection.

ウイルスや細菌が体内に侵入した時、アレルギー反応が起こった時、ケガをした時など白血球と赤血球を中心とした体内細胞の人知れぬ活躍を描いた「細胞擬人化漫画」の話題作です。
今年2月、「新型コロナウイルス編」を収録した最終第６巻が発売されました。
In one human body, there are roughly 37 trillion cells. With the sheer number of cells comes a lot of work (and a lot of drama)! When viruses or bacteria invade the human body, when allergic reactions occur, when the body is injured… Cells at Work! is a story that focuses on the anthropomorphic white and red blood cells hidden deep underneath the human skin, working behind the scenes to maintain the human body!

日本語版を「フル☆アニメTV」、英語やヒンディー語の外国語版は「anime manga offifical」にて順次配信していきます。

◆教育機関や医療施設等への映像の無償提供について
ムービングコミック配信後、全国の病院や学校から「映像を感染予防の啓発に活用したい」という問い合わせが数多く寄せられました。そこでこの度、教育機関や医療施設等に限って無償で映像を提供することに決定しました。施設内での大型モニターでの上映やHPにリンクを貼るといった取り組みが可能になります（2022年6月末までの期間限定）。
